BC beats Liberty in opening game of ACHA Nationals

BC and Liberty battled to a 3-3 tie through 3 periods. In the OT session, BC came up with the game winner.

We had some time to explore St. Louis after playing four great games and making it to the semi-finals for the first time ever!! We visited the arch, the city museum, and went to the Blues game & of course we had plenty of custard and STL BBQ. The eagles won 4-1 to take down #1 LSSU today‼️ Goals from Izzy Marble, Marie Sweeney, Elle Joubert, and Julia Maybury🚨🚨 Looking ahead to tomorrow’s semifinal game at the ACHA National Tournament 🦅🏒 #buryit #rolleags Following a 4-3 win against Rowan University Profs yesterday, the Eagles are looking forward to their match-up against Villanova University Wildcats this evening. After an amazing regular season and winning the Independent Women’s Club Hockey League (IWCHL) Championship this past weekend, our team is super excited to play in St. Louis and can’t wait to get on the ice.

The Boston College Women’s Club Ice Hockey program was founded in the spring of 2014. The team competed in its first full season of play during the 2014 – 2015 school year as a member of the Independent Women’s Club Hockey League (IWCHL). The club joined the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) in 2015 and competes in the Presidential Division of the IWCHL.
